Activities
The Summer Cultural Program brings speakers and performers from the area to the park to present programs with tribal, historical or climbing themes. The Junior Ranger Program is offered year round for youth and families. Junior Ranger booklets may be obtained at the Visitor Center. We recommend at least one hour to complete the program. Upon completion of the booklet, Junior Rangers will be officially sworn in and given a special badge. Junior Ranger Patches may be purchased in the bookstore. Winter activities include hiking, cross-country skiing, and climbing. Caution - trails are not maintained during the winter months. The road to the Visitor Center, picnic area and Circle of Sacred Smoke sculpture are open in the winter.Transportation
Devils Tower National Monument is accessed by a single road, Wyoming Hwy 24. It is located 9 miles south of Hulett, WY. The most common route to the Tower is off of Interstate 90, taking US Hwy 14 from Moorcroft, WY (if approaching from the west) or US Hwy 14 from Sundance, WY (if approaching from the east). Wyoming Hwy 24 intersects US Hwy 14 six miles south of the Tower at what is known as "Devils Tower Junction." The Tower can also be reached from the north via WY Hwy 24 and/or 112 after passing through Hulett, WY. The Devils Tower National Monument physical address is WY-110, Devils Tower, Wyoming, 82714. Often, GPS devices are unable to accurately direct visitors to the Tower. We suggest using a road map and following the signage from major highways.Food & Drink
