Will The Rental Have Parking?

How Far In Advance Should I Make My Reservation?

Planning well in advance may help you get the most out of your vacation. Most travelers will reserve lodging as much as 6 months in advance. Advance booking becomes especially important during peak seasons in the most popular travel destinations. The sooner you book, the more options you will have.

How Do I Search For Rentals Using The Map?

Can You Pay For Bookings Online?

Each vacation rental is privately owned and operated, and payments are made directly to the property owner/manager. Typically a deposit is required upon reservation, followed by the balance paid in one or two later installments. Many property owners/managers ask for a deposit and the full rental charge to be paid before arrival.

 

Each vacation rental has individual methods, schedules, and preferred payment options. Credit cards, PayPal, or personal checks are all common options. We recommend using a secured option such as PayPal or credit card.

How Do I Contact A Property’s Owners/Manager?

Arrangements to lease a vacation rental are made directly with the property owners/managers. Their direct contact information is listed on each property profile’s “Availability” tab.

 

Remember, when speaking with a property owner/manager; take the opportunity to ask about any special needs, rates, available dates, and the local area and activities.

What Does My Profile Include?

Every featured destination provides an orientation to the area, detailing highlights individual to the location. A general description of climate is included, as well as languages spoken, currencies used, cuisine, entertainment, activities, and local transportation. Your individual profile page features this bonus resource for travelers as “Things To Do.”

 

Your individual profile page also includes 5-10 high quality pictures, area location, a general description, availability and rate information, amenities offered, and property testimonials from past clients. Inclusion of a video property tour is also recommended.

What Photos Should I Include On The Profile?

Rentals with 4 or more photos tend to get more bookings. We require 5-10, and suggest including:

  • Exterior photographs of property in at least two separate seasons when it is particularly lovely.
  • Photographs of the main living area, kitchen, dining area, and one of each bedroom.
  • Additional photographs of any extra amenities like a hot tub, pool table, game room, etc.

The minimum photograph size requirement is 850x555pixel with the highest resolution possible.

How Do I Send A Video To Be Included In My Profile?

A video is a great tool for sharing the property experience with potential renters. VIP Vacation Rentals highly recommends the inclusion of a video property tour on your profile page. As an added plus, your video tour will be featured on the VIP Vacation Rentals YouTube channel as an additional way to attract potential renters.

Potential renters will contact you directly at your provided business number to reserve the property, but also to ask about rates, available dates, special needs, the local area, and offered activities.
