Driving:
The South Dakota Department of Transportation keeps all highways servicing the Black Hills region in excellent driving condition, ever during the more severe winter months. North-south highways are US 85, US 385 and SD 79.

Rapid City, South Dakota - Rapid City Regional Airport is located ten miles east of the city of Rapid City, South Dakota. Allegiant Air, American Eagle, Delta Airlines, SkyWest, Frontier Airlines, and United Airlines provide service to and from Rapid City.
Billings, Montana - Billings Logan International Airport is the regional hub for three major airlines, Delta, Northwest and United. It is one of the major airports that provide accessibility to the Black Hills region of South Dakota.
