There is no end of things to do and see on Quadra Island and recreation is a big part of local life and visitors' experience. The hub for recreation on Quadra is the Quadra Island Community Centre where our hard working coordinators work to develop a year round program of workshops, sports, cultural events and other services for all ages and interests. The Quadra Island Recreation Society is comprised of a number of committees who oversee, trail work, cultural events, community events and much much more.
Transportation
Campbell River is the stepping off point on Vancouver Island for the short 10 minute ferry crossing to Quadra Island. The majority of travellers reach Quadra by ferry from Campbell River.
Food & Drink
Quadra Island has a great selection of dining options: take-out burgers and sushi, vegetarian fare, locally roasted coffee, waterfront dining with fine cuisine, all served in the stylishly relaxed manner Quadra Island is famous for.
