Sun Peaks Resort prides itself on year-round family oriented and affordable outdoor activities. Winter brings downhill skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, dogsledding, snowshoeing, and sleigh riding. In summer, the focus shifts to hiking, golfing, mountain biking and fishing. Sun Peaks is also a micro-hub of foodie culture with food and wine festivals and fine dining onsite. Sun Peaks is just an hour from Kamloops. It is an ideal escape from the daily rigors of city life.
Transportation
Regular flights to Kamloops and Kelowna, train and bus service to Kamloops, and resort shuttles make travelling to Sun Peaks Resort easy and efficient. Driving is also a good option with vehicle rentals available at several nearby communities and airports.
Food & Drink
Sun Peaks Resort offers a wide selection of dining options, from haute cuisine to comfort food. Every onsite restaurant offers a different flavour and theme – pub fare, tapas, and sushi. The resort places great emphasis on using local ingredients, such as cheeses from Salmon Arm in the Okanagan Valley, meats from a ranch north of Kamloops, and scallops from Qualicum Beach on Vancouver Island.
