Sea Isle City
Activities
Welcome to Sea Isle City, a wonderful place to call “home” or “home away from home.” As you enter town from the west via the Sea Isle Bridge, you’ll notice our inviting “Beach to Bay” corridor along JFK Boulevard, which was fully renovated in 2013. A stroll through this modernized area will take you past seven historical markers that will give you a glimpse into Sea Isle’s noteworthy past. After enjoying all that our entrance corridor has to offer (including Veterans Park, a state-of-the-art playground, basketball courts, a bayfront boardwalk and some beautiful scenery), take a moment to visit the Sea Isle City Welcome Center, located on JFK next to the bridge. Our Welcome Center staff can offer you event information, literature, dining and shopping suggestions, and all the details you need to make the most of your visit. While you are here, you will also want to stroll along our oceanfront Promenade, which runs from 29th to 57th Street. The Promenade has shops, eateries, arcades and many places to sit and enjoy the roar of the ocean. Later, take yourself to the south end of town, where you’ll find the Townsend Inlet Waterfront Park, located at 94th Street. After walking past the pavilion and over the dune paths of T.I. Park, spend some time at the inlet, where you’ll see pleasure boats, anglers catching dinner, families playing on the sand and sunsets that will take your breath away. In Sea Isle City, we pride ourselves on making our guests feel right at home. From the Welcome Center to our cordial business community, you’ll meet friendly people who can offer advice on “where to go” and “what to do.” Whether this is your first time in town or you have been summering here your entire life, I promise we’ll do all we can to make sure that you will miss us when your visit comes to an end. Perhaps that’s why each year more and more people choose to make Sea Isle City their year-round home. Who knows…maybe you’ll be next!Transportation
