The Spring Break and Summer seasons are coming up, which means two things are about to happen. 1) Students of all ages are going to be out of school. 2) Student of all ages are going to be bored at home and looking for something to do. If you are a parent or bored student in this situation and you start thinking some kind of family or group vacation might be in order, you should look into visiting one of the many Disney theme parks. There are several Disney attractions that are planned to either launch or get an overhaul in 2018, making it the perfect time to plan a trip to a new adventure.
Disney California Adventure is expecting major changes as they are planning on switching out the well-known boardwalk for a new theme, Pixar Land, in 2018. Although this does mean that a few of the more popular attractions on the boardwalk will be closed for a few months as they go through renovations, they will re-open this year with exciting updates. For example, California Screamin’ is going to become an Incredibles themed roller coaster in honor of the movie sequel that is also premiering this year. Plus, several of the other popular restaurants and even the famous Farris Wheel are all being updated with the Pixar theme. This means that a large part of California Adventure is going to be a whole new, exciting experience for visitors in the summer of 2018.
A brand-new attraction, Toy Story Land, is set to open in Disney’s Hollywood Studios at the end of June. This attraction is going to have several rides that children and adults can both enjoy. A Slinky Dog rollercoaster, Alien Swirling Saucers, and even more exciting new rides are going to be in the Toy Story Land. There will also be new themed restaurants where you can go to enjoy a meal or snack while looking out for the characters wandering around. This park is especially exciting for parents and students of all ages because of the large time gaps between when the movies were released. Several generations have now become Toy Story fans, making this attraction good for a family or group trip.
Of course, these are only a couple of the numerous changes Disney is planning on making in the future. Disney has announced several other exciting new restaurants, updates, and attractions that are coming to Disney’s various locations in 2018 and the next few years.
