Welcome to the stunning Dreamcatcher cabin! Peacefully tucked in lush woods overlooking a meandering stream, ‘Dreamcatcher’ is our dream come true.

Nothing was left out when breathing life into this lovely log home. One can’t help but relax in the charm of its warm embrace. The cabin has open beam construction and the three spacious bedrooms, three large full bathrooms (one on each floor), basement playroom, loft, family room with wood burning fireplace, and stocked kitchen are all decorated with detail.

What’s better than enjoying that first cup of coffee while rocking on the porch and listening to the creek make its way from the gentle waterfall in back and down the cabin’s side. You can choose to stay here all day and relax, or plan to enjoy any one of the many activities Lake Lure and the surrounding area have to offer.

Additional information

Located in the planned community of wooded Riverbend where we often see deer, wild turkey, or even a hawk nesting in a tall tree just beyond the porch. You have access to two small, private lakes with beach and picnic area. The French Broad River is there for you to enjoy fishing, tubing, or canoeing/kayaking. Not far is your chance to brave a zip line!

Dreamcatcher is a non-smoking, dog friendly cabin that comfortably sleeps 10 with two kings, one queen, and 4 twin beds. Cozy enough for two, but its thoughtful layout makes it easy for large families to spread out.

Stake your claim on a quiet place to relax and read a book, head to the basement to play fooseball, air hockey, a video game on the PS2 console, or pick one of two televisions featuring satellite and VCR/DVD.

A mud room, with washer/dryer and utility sink, offers access to the three sided deck. After an afternoon of playing in the creek, adults and kids alike can kick off their dirty boots, which are provided in various sizes for your enjoyment.

Activities

Lake Lure is gorgeous with rock faces to the water and boasts a fun beach/water park with many lifeguards on duty in season. Play golf at one of the three courses nearby, play tennis or basketball near the lake, or rent a boat and enjoy skiing, tubing or knee boarding while learning new techniques from your personal certified instructor. Lovely evening cruises are a wonderful way to view Lake Lure's beauty and leave every hour from the beach's marina.

Nearby Chimney Rock is a fun little town offering unique shops, miniature golf by the river, and many great restaurants. Take your ice cream cones and go 'boulder hopping:' when not getting wet is the challenge but also the most fun! Hiking Chimney Rock is spectacular!

Not far is Asheville where, among other things, you might tour Biltmore Estates and Winery. The beauty of having your space here is that the mountains offer something for everyone!

Lake Lure is a great family destination with plenty of opportunities for swimming, canoeing/kayaking, fishing, hiking and rock climbing.
