We request the following deposits, in addition to your rental payment, before arrival so you will not have to worry about bringing extra cash for your trip. This will allow you to enjoy your stay without interruptions:
Security deposit $1,000: This deposit will be used to cover any broken items or phone calls made during your stay. Should there be no damage, the total amount will be returned to you on your last day.
Pre paid grocery deposit: We will request $2,000.00 as a deposit for grocery shopping. This deposit will be used to purchase meals and drinks requested by you for the first day or two. Expenses will vary depending on the brands and amounts of food and alcohol you request. We may need to request additional funds upon arrival to cover all pre arrival purchases. During your stay we will require funds to pay for all food and drink items. A final balance will be presented to you 1 day before departure with change (if any) with all purchased receipts attached.
Pre paid Gratuity Fee: This deposit will be used for tipping the staff. We have 10 staff members that will be at your service during your stay and will make sure that you have everything you need. It is customary to tip the staff 17% of your rental cost (prior to tax) for groups larger than 15 guests. Our staff is highly trained and you will be well pleased with the professional services you will recieve. On staff has professionally trained chefs and English speaking waiters at your service 12+ hours a day.
Larger Groups: If you have more than 30 guests we have 2 additional villas next to the Villa Mia that can accommodate 22 more guests, slightly more if you have children 12 and under.

Elegant Villa – secluded 75,341 sq/ft beachfront resort w/ pool.
The Resort comes with 15 bedrooms, fully private bathrooms, 2 kitchens, 4 terraces, 2 Palapa Bars, oceanfront Gym, a large infinity swimming pool and a natural ocean pool. It is the one of the largest Villa Resorts in Puerto Vallarta. It embraces the Bay of Banderas with some of the most spectacular views and settings found anywhere. There is a minimum booking required of 10 bedrooms, 4 nights. When you book the Villa Mia, you are the only guests at the villa.
The bedrooms have the most beautiful and eccentric views, from the wild to the blue ocean side. You will experience nature as you never had before. Feel the ocean breeze while you are sipping a margarita in our infinity pool, or in one of our two large palapa bars. Our Jacuzzi is so close to the ocean you can almost taste the salty waters. There is a pathway to an altar made by the rocks in the middle of the ocean where you can not only celebrate your wedding ceremony but also relax and enjoy the view. We also have for your enjoyment a T.V. room with a table for games and many books to read. Or if you prefer something more exciting you can visit our theater room with a wide screen TV ready to play any movie you desire. If you feel like exercising, try our gym by the pool terrace while you enjoy fantastic ocean views.

By special arrangement Villa Mia has been made available to select qualified groups. The Villa is a privately owned estate and is not open to the general public. Because the Villa accommodates only one group at a time, there is a minimum rental of 10 bedroom and four nights. Student groups, bachelor parties or the like are not accepted. Reservations must consist on a minimum of 10 rooms. We do not accept reservations for less than 10 rooms.
Location:
The Villa Resort is located 15Km. south of downtown, situated on Banderas Bay on the west coast of Mexico.
Reservation Policy:
Your reservation will be confirmed upon receipt of your 50% deposit. The balance, plus a security & phone deposit is due with the last payment. The security deposit is refundable, providing there is no damage or long distance phone calls during the guest’s stay.
The Staff:
Is charming, well trained, and eager to please. Their desire is to see that the guests have a wonderful stay.
Food and Liquor:
The menus are selected by the guests and all the shopping is done by the staff on an “at cost” basis; there is no mark-up (Please note: no credit cards accepted.). The chefs are trained under American standards and wash all fruits and vegetables in a purifying agent prior to their storage in the refrigerator.
Water:
The estate has its own 50,000 gallon reservoir and purification system. In addition we will supply large drinking bottled water containers for your daily use.
Electricity:
All of the Villa’s electric plug receptacles are U.S. standard (AC 110-115) outlets.
Transfers from Airport to Resort:
Shuttle service to and from the airport is available through taxi and bus services located at the Airport. We can arrange a Private Driver pick up at the airport upon request. Please contact Puerto Vallarta Properties to arrange for this service.
Immigration:
Individuals entering Mexico must have a tourist card, available free of charge through the airlines ticket desk. You must also carry proof of citizenship, such as passport and photo identification. Your tourist card must also be returned on leaving Mexico.
Duty Customs:
On entering Mexico all visitors must declare to Mexican customs officials any items intending to be left Mexico valued at over $300 dollars. Items of a personal nature pass through customs freely.
Temporary Importation Permit:
A temporary permit is needed to bring audiovisual equipment, gifts, awards, stationery, etc. into Mexico. To get this permit, you must provide your ground operator with a letter stating the date of your event, the purpose of bringing such items into Mexico and your intention to return the goods to their place of origin. The letter must be presented at least 45 days prior to your arrival date.
Weather And Temperature:
The climate in the Puerto Vallarta Region is tropical. Temperatures range from 70 to 90 degrees Fahrenheit (21 to 32 Celsius) year round.
Currency:
The Peso is the official currency of Mexico. Current exchange rates are favorable for travelers from the U.S., Canada, Europe and many other countries. Travelers checks and major credit cards are widely accepted, however personal checks are not accepted. The U.S. dollar is accepted in most shopping areas and given the current rate of exchange.
Local Points:
Take time out to see the historical majesty that is Puerto Vallarta. A variety of chartered excursions are widely available, including enchanting country side and city tours, a tropical jungle tour, a scenic cruise, whale watching and a romantic dinner cruise.
Shopping:
Upscale malls, outdoor markets and arcades sell everything from designer clothing to Mexican jewelry and handicrafts.
Nightlife:
After dark a glittering array of nightlife and dining awaits your pleasure — in both Puerto Vallarta and nearby Nuevo Vallarta.
