Lake Lure is a short 45 minute drive to Asheville and historic Biltmore Estate. A 1 hr drive to the north brings you to Boone, Blowing Rock and Lineville where you can enjoy skiing, wonderful shopping, hiking and spectacular views at Grandfather Mountain and Linville Falls and Caverns.
