Casa Carole is a classical Mexican Colonial villa right on the beach, just 5 minutes south of downtown Puerto Vallarta. The villa’s 6,500 square feet, on four levels, cascade down the hillside between the coast road and the beach below. Each of the rooms is on a different level and offers unobstructed views of the ocean, the beach, and the surrounding tropical forests from its spacious balcony.

Casa Carole requires a 50% deposit to hold your reservation, with the balance due 60 days prior to your arrival.

Once you confirm your booking with your deposit, there is no refund in case of a cancellation, unless we are able to re-rent your time for the same dates and at the same rate.

The entrance to Casa Carole is right off of the coastal road in the exclusive Conchas Chinas residential area. Because the villa cascades down the hillside to the beach and sea below, all you see from the road are the towers with red tiled roofs. These towers are circular staircases that take you down through the villa.

Pool deck: The 1,500 Sq. Ft. Pool Deck is “Action Central” at Casa Carole. Enjoy its natural cantara stone tile floor, multitude of masetas full of flowers. The large 25’ x 12’ heated infinity pool has an adjacent Jacuzzi pool, with benches and a fountain. The infinity pool features a unique toehold ledge along the outside wall about 4 feet below the water level. You can stand on this ledge and enjoy the ocean views with a margarita in your hand. There is a powder room with shower below the Pool Deck, when required.

Use the lounge chairs and cushions, or relax in the traditional equipal chairs. If it’s too hot, retire to the covered Pool Deck alcove with its cooling ceiling fan.

Serve yourself from the refrigerator behind the palapa covered bar, stocked with the beverages you have ordered, or enjoy drinks served by our houseman/conceirge daily after 4:30 pm. Enjoy a buffet dinner on the Pool Deck with Mexican delicacies grilled on the gas BBQ.

Dining room: The Dining room features hand-carved traditional Mexican furniture, plus hand-crafted Mexican china and glassware. The table seats 10 for elegant meals prepared and served by your own cook twice a day. Enjoy breakfast on the Dining room balcony under a protective palapa roof and watch the early morning fisherman catching your dinner, or look for dolphins frolicking right in front of the villa. An after dinner coffee and Kahlua on the balcony will finish off a wonderful day.

You will find our "Communications Center" here with our high-speed Internet that delivers WiFi connectivity through most of the villa. In addtion there is our black Vonage phone which offers FREE long distance service to any phone in the US and Canada.

Living room: The spacious Living room with its beamed cathedral ceiling, exposed adobe brick arches and marble floors, features hand-carved colonial furniture and traditional Mexican art and handicrafts. The interior garden and potted plants bring nature indoors and the balcony affords views of the Pool Deck, the infinity pool, the palms and the beach beyond.

The Kitchen: The well equipped kitchen, with a large refrigerator, six-burner stove and a host of small appliances, is where your cook prepares and cooks two meals for you a day. It will be stocked with the food and beverages you have ordered for your arrival. Each day, consult with the cook and select the meals you want from our extensive menu. She will purchase the food the following morning and bring it to the villa. She cooks and our houseman/concierge serves your breakfast, she preps the dinner meal while he does house maintenance and they usually go home for the afternoon. At about 4 pm, she and the houseman/concierge return. He serves drinks on the pool deck at 4:30. The cook prepares and the houseman/concierge serves the evening meal that you have selected. Each day the cook will present you with the receipts for the food and drink you have ordered. It is best to settle up in pesos each day.
