General

Quiet location with private pool off Ali’i Drive, close to the beach and all activities!

People call it the “Blue Lagoon” home. The official Hawaiian name for the home is “Hale ‘Olu Olu,” meaning “the home of relaxation and comfort.” The name was given after a traditional Hawaiian house blessing by Kahu Danny Akaka.

The Hale ‘Olu Olu is a private, large, two story home nestled in a White Sands Estates cul-de-sac: a quiet beach community, great for relaxation and comfort. The home is built to feel as if you’re sleeping in the open tropical air with detailed Hawaiian decor throughout the home. The property is dotted with palms, plumeria, and fruit trees.

The location is great for an active person, or leisurely sitting and relaxing. It’s right off Ali’i Drive, only a five minute walk to White Sands Beach (aka Magic Sands Beach), and a ten minute walk to Kahalu’u Beach Park, one of Kona’s premier snorkeling spots.

After a day at the beach enjoy the sunset view from the lanai and the living room, or wash off the sand and jump in the private, blue lagoon salt water pool!

There is also the option of flying into Honolulu International Airport (HNL) on Oahu first and then taking a short, 35-40 minute flight to Hawaii Island.

Food & Drink
