Additional information

Located just one house up from the beautiful Manini Beach Park (the entrance to the famous Kealakekua Bay) and bordering Napoopoo Park (a beautiful ocean front with great tide-pooling), this home is a perfect base camp for the many adventures awaiting you nearby; including snorkeling/kayaking to Captain Cook Monument, swimming with the wild spinner dolphins, exploring and uncovering the treasures in the local tide pools, and hiking the many beautiful cliffs and trails through the Kona countryside.

However, if you would rather slow the pace down, kick up your feet and relax, this is also the perfect place to do it. You can wake up to the natural salty breeze coming off the ocean, brew up a truly fresh cup of Kona coffee, then wander outside to catch some sun on our beautifully manicured lawn, or to the beach for a morning swim.

Our spacious 4 bedroom home is open and airy, which is perfect if you like to go to sleep to the sound of the ocean waves, and wake up to the sounds of Hawaii's abundant wildlife. And who would not enjoy rinsing off in our outdoor shower after a beautiful swim in the bay? We also have papaya, mango and pumulo trees in the yard for your enjoyment.

While there are 4 bedrooms (3 rooms with queen and/or double beds, and 1 room with a double and a twin), there is also one hide-a-bed, as well as a twin bed downstairs in the reading nook. In all, the house can sleep up to 10 people comfortably. There are 1 and ½ indoor bathrooms, and one outdoor shower, to make this 2 full bathrooms total for the whole house.

The surrounding area is adorned with flowering plants, and tropical fruit trees. As you are out and about, you will likely see several neighborhood vender stands that are sprinkled throughout the area offering fresh local goods, such as tropical fruits, macadamia nuts, traditional Hawaiian lays, and fresh Kona coffee.

We look forward to opening our home to you, so enjoy your stay, and mahalo!
