Casa Higuera is located in Amapas, just a half a mile south of Puerto Vallarta’s beautiful old town. This grand villa offers outstanding views of the Bay of Banderas, and is situated in the mountains surrounded by beautiful vegetation and a jungle canyon full of birds.

The villa’s contemporary, simple Mexican architecture, and open air design goes very well with the environment, allowing the enjoyment of nature both inside, and outside. The first thing you see when you arrive is a 100 year old, spectacular tree, welcoming you into this beautiful space. A “Higuera,” the tree lends its name to the villa.

The amazing, saltwater infinity swimming pool (chlorine free) is heated, making it the perfect spot to watch beautiful sunsets over the water.  You may feel as if the view is yours alone. The property provides many spots for contemplating and relaxing in nature and the space itself.

Casa Higuera is private and quiet, but still close to restaurants, bars, galleries, shopping, hospitals, and various activity offerings. Gorgeous beaches are only a 10 minute walk away, and our guests are invited to make use of our beach club: Mahi Beach House at Los Muertos Beach! A lovely bit of paradise next to town!

The kitchen is simple but significant, and offers an espresso machine.

Full-time housekeeping is included, and a friendly staff will cook lovely Mexican food each day for breakfast and lunch. We can help with your groceries and little things like fresh coconuts and delicious, fresh caught seafood daily.

Puerto Vallarta is a magical Mexican town by the Pacific Ocean with beautiful mountains and jungle, and great weather, with a lot of flavor and things to do.
