A pristine historic 1823 mansion in the heart of the french quarter. Relax in a private garden with outdoor seating and huge covered porch featuring shade awnings to protect you from the midday sun. In the center of the courtyard garden is an ornate fountain.

Between St. Philip and ursuline st., you can sit on the front stoop for 5:00 cocktails and watch the world go by or walk anywhere in the french quarter.

Step from gorgeous kitchen to back covered porch, patio and a stunning private new orleans garden.

A charming & comfortable carriage house in the rear of the garden with bathroom & kitchenette that sleeps 3 is also available for rent, either additionally or separately for $250 per night (see vrbo #353791 for carriage house listing).

This is the former home of actors Delta Burke (designing women) and Gerald Mcraney (simon and simon, major dad), and it is decorated in a tasteful, modern and eclectic european style.

The parlor/living room features a bar with ice machine, large windows facing royal street, large 14 ft ceiling to floor walkout windows facing royal street, leather sofas, and sterling silver touches at every turn.

Step inside from the back porch to a large stylish kitchen with 14-foot ceilings and a huge center table with stools for meal prep and dining.

The living room features a 65 inch tv with leather sofas. There are gas heaters in the garden and on the porch for cooler evenings - even an outdoor shower!

This is our home, not a rental property, so we are looking for visitors who will respect and appreciate that.
