Our unit is not your typical ‘vacation rental’. First and foremost we completed a total remodel. There is travertine stone throughout including the bathroom shower/tub and also extending outside on the lanai. Completely new kitchen cabinets with granite tile countertops throughout. For those who like sparkeling clean drinking water and ice there is a reverse osmosis water filter with a tap at the kitchen sink as well as piped to the automatic ice maker. The Bedroom has a nice pillow-top, king-sized bed with high-thread-count soft linens. The kitchen is equipped as a home with quality cooking gear, dishes and glassware and plenty of sharp knives, etc. There is art work on the walls and cordless phone.

General
Secluded tropical oasis w/ reef access, poolside cabana, and gorgeous views of Maui & Lanai!
Located on the southeast side of the island, 13 miles from the main town of Kaunakakai, places Molokai Magic in the perfect balance of weather; tropical but not too rainy and not dry.
Wavecrest is by far the best maintained facility on the island. The grounds are kept neat and beautiful all year round by a full-time staff of gardening and maintenance professionals.
Molokai is a wonderful place on this planet to golf, snorkel, relax, and many other activities which involve taking in the beauty and solitude of this relatively unspoiled island paradise.
In case you are not aware, Wavecrest Resort is the nicest and best maintained condominium facility on the island and we have been told many times that our unit is the most nicely furnished and best located one-bedroom unit available for rent in the complex.
This is a nicely equipped, one-bedroom, ground-floor unit located 100 yards from the water. It has an unobstructed view of the ocean as well as looking out on the beautifully maintained gardens and grounds. The furnishings are nice, comfortable, and clean. It sleeps three in one king bed and a nice sofa which can accomodate a 6 ft. person for comfortable sleeping.
The kitchen is well equipped with quality cooking utensils, nice dishes, glassware, and a good assortment of spices (not your typical vacation rental stuff).
Sitting on your lanai, you have spectacular views of two islands – not to mention the phenomenal whale watching (in season, which is late December through the end of April).
It is a beautiful 13-mile drive from town (Kaunakakai) to Wavecrest Resort. This resort is wonderfully quiet, even during the day. There is a beautifully tiled pool at the shoreline with magnificent views of the islands of Maui, Lanai, and Kaho’olawe as well as the majestic mountains rising up to the crest of the island.

Molokai
Activities
On Molokai, you can do as much as you want or nothing at all. Perhaps a little of both? Snorkeling, scuba, fishing, whale watching, golf, hikes, tours? Or maybe try to complete that book you’ve been reading. Or a nap at the beach under a palm tree. Molokai embraces the true Hawaiian spirit but without the typical Hawaiian fanfare. The pace is slower here, the nightlife and megaresorts are practically nonexistent (no buildings taller than a coconut tree are allowed), you won't even find a traffic light on this small island (38 miles long and 10 miles wide). You will find tranquility and nature - waterfalls, beaches, coves, coral reefs and rainforests, all best explored by foot, horse or boat. Molokai is also known for its fabulous mountain biking.Transportation
Getting to Molokai can be a challenge, but well worth the effort. There are no direct flights from anywhere outside Hawaii, so you’ll have to connect in either Honolulu or Maui.Food & Drink
Those looking for fine dining on Molokai will be disappointed, but if you just want something fresh and hearty to eat, Kaunakakai has more than a week’s worth of options, all inexpensive. When people on Molokai mention “hot bread,” they’re talking about the signature item of Kanemitsu’s Bakery an iconic island experience. First you have to find the bakery’s back door: Head up the Hotel Street alley past the bakery and turn left at the white awning; walk 10 yards past a few benches and turn left again; the window counter is just ahead. You can order loaves of hot (or warm) white bread and a few select pastries from 8 to about 11pm. Ask for butter, jelly, cinnamon, or cream cheese ($7 for two fillings, $8 for the works), and the bakers will cut the hot loaves down the middle and slather on fillings so they melt in the bread—perfect for dessert, breakfast, and several snacks, if you don’t mind the carbs.Read more
