General

Peaceful lake house on open water w/ gameroom, boat dock, and onsite boat rental. Only 1 ½ hour from Dallas!

Waterfront living gives you an incredible sense of peace, away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Cedar Creek Lake is an amazing lake with many areas to explore. Sunsets on the lake are a favorite past-time. Sit on the deck and enjoy the incredible view!

Facing south with easy access to the lake, the lake house is shadowed by trees with a great breeze coming off the water, pushing all flying insects away and keeping us cool no matter the outdoor temperature.

Inside, enjoy the air-conditioned garage which has been converted into a gameroom.  Play darts, ping pong, snooker (English 10′ x 5′ pool table), or the PS3 or Wii on the big screen.

The house’s back deck has a BBQ grill and outdoor seating. Hammock chairs, a lakefront fire pit, Adirondack chairs, and an outdoor patio area make relaxing outdoors quite enjoyable! The two story boat dock has wireless remote boat lifts and two sunbathing decks.

Tubes, life jackets, boat rental, and single person or large party floats are available on request. There is nowhere better than being on the lake and enjoying family, lake activities, and fun with friends!

Additional information

The house is between Athens and Gun Barrel City, giving you more choices for nearby stores and in town restaurants.

The owner will personally greet you and show you around the property to make sure you have the best experience possible.

The living area has a beautiful fireplace, and a large porch out the back door with a gas grill and seating for six.

A wonderful open kitchen provides a refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, trash compactor, and dual ovens. The dining table seats eight, and there are also two bar stools at the kitchen counter. The laundry room has a full size washer and dryer.

Roomy enclosed outdoor shower (hot/cold) with great views of the lake while you bathe! Three rope hammocks hang from the arbor and dock for ultimate relaxation.

Located on the deep side of Cedar Creek Lake, the property has excellent water levels as compared to the rest of the lake during dry spells.

We have a boat ramp in our subdivision about 100 yards away from the house. The lake is full at 322 feet above sea level. If the water level is 317.50 and higher, we can easily launch from our dock. The two story dock extends well over 120' into the lake for deep water access, and has wireless remote boat lifts.

If you decide to rent a boat (5 choices available), I'll give you instructions on operation.

4th of July fireworks can be seen from all over the lake! You don't even have to leave the back porch!
