Travel directly to Playa del Carmen usually see’s U.S. visitors arrive at Cancun International Airport, and about a 45 minute ride. Both Taxi’s and bus service is available. One word of warning, many companies offer free rides to your destination, but in exchange you will be required to listen to a time-share pitch. By proceeding directly to the outdoor transportation area, you will likely only encounter professional services, including the economical ADO Bus. Whatever you’re craving, you’ll likely find it in Playa del Carmen.
