Walton Beach and Destin is famous for pristine beaches, water sports and awesome family attractions. Come play beach volleyball on sand so clean it squeaks underfoot. Laugh with the sea lions at the world's oldest, continuously operating live marine show. Land a big one from the 1,261-foot-long fishing pier. Find out for yourself why families return here year after year, generation after generation, to build memories in the sand.Transportation

Additional service is offered between Crestview, Niceville, and Fort Walton Beach; between Fort Walton Beach and Destin; and from Destin to the Silver Sands Outlet Mall in Miramar Beach. Para transit, that is transportation from door to door, is also available. All buses are equipped with wheelchair lifts and bicycle carriers. Crestview has two routes that take passengers to shopping, medical care, government services. One serves north side residents and another travels to areas south of Interstate 10.Food & Drink
Where there is great fishing, there are usually great seafood restaurants, and the Emerald Coast is no exception. Here you’ll find cuisine that is both inventive and fresh, brought in daily by Florida's largest fishing fleet. From rustic oyster bars and open-air cafes to candlelit restaurants, all our local eateries offer the freshest, largest variety of seafood. Gulf seafood isn’t the only thing we do well. Steak, sushi, wood-oven-fired pizzas, authentic Asian cuisine, the perfect hamburger ... you can find it all here.Read more
