Cozy cottage completely furnished and close to the beach – three blocks from local attractions and activities!

The public library, boardwalk, town pier, coffee shop, grocery, and boat charters are close by. Visit the Westomoreland Berry Farm or Ingleside Winery, George Washington’s Birthplace and Robert E. Lee’s Birthplace close by.

Additional information

Our three-bedroom/one full bath home, with washer and dryer, is a great small beach town rental, On The Point or peninsula.

Our cozy cottage is just three blocks from the Potomac River and one block from Monroe Bay. Everything in town is accessible by walking, bicycle or golf cart.

If you would like to bring your dog, please look under "Rates and Notes" for a full explanation of fees.

The cottage is completely furnished. We are dog friendly. Colonial Beach is a golf cart community, which means you can drive your car or a golf cart all around residential streets and golf cart paths.

Rentals are available in town. Enjoy walking along the river, lying on the beach, and visiting Ingleside Winery and Westmoreland Berry Farm.

Enjoy one of the many fine restaurants that Colonial Beach has to offer. Our kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, cooking utensils, spices, coffee and tea. High Definition Flat screen TV and washer/dryer were added this year. We have a large fenced in backyard and a deck with a table and chairs.

Visit the birthplace plantations of President George Washington and General Robert E. Lee.

We are less than 2 hours away from Washington, DC, 2 hours from Baltimore, 2.5 hours from VA Beach and 45 minutes from Fredericksburg, VA., 1 hour to Kings Dominion Theme Park.

Bring your bikes to ride around town. Westmoreland State Park has some of the best fossil hunting on the east coast! You can also drive to the town of Tappahanock and take the Ferry Boat to Ingleside Winery for a fun excursion! (Includes a bus ride to the winery and lunch).

Colonial Beach now has a large gym, where you can work-out and take classes for a fee per day and we even have a day spa!
