As you may already know, Isla Cozumel Mexico is very famous for its diving and snorkeling because of the magnificent coral reefs that are only a short distance from the shore.
Drift diving was pretty much created in Cozumel, because of the perfect current that flows along the island, which allows divers to use very little energy to enjoy the famous reefs in Cozumel.
The current that flows along the island also helps keep the corals healthy and clean, and adds to the crystal clear visibility Cozumel is famous for.
Transportation
Unfortunately, public transportation is generally not considered a viable option for travelers visiting Cozumel. There is a public bus system in Cozumel, but it does not go to either the hotels or the beaches which are the two main areas between which visitors are likely to travel. However; visitors interested in getting from one place to another within the town itself, particularly in the downtown area, might find that the bus in Cozumel works for them.
Food & Drink
Dining options on Cozumel reflect the island’s laid-back attitude: breezy and relaxed, with casual dress and no reservations the rule at most places. Generally, restaurants emphasize fresh ingredients, simple presentation, and amiable service. As befits an island, there’s lots of just-caught seafood on the menu.
