The Reno/Tahoe International Airport (RTIA) is located three miles south of downtown Reno. The airport handles about 14,000 arriving and departing passengers on about 90 commercial flights per day from 11 major airlines, and is an international Port of Entry. Passenger rail service is available from Amtrak via the "California Zephyr," described as the most scenic train ride in the United States, with daily service from San Francisco and Chicago. The city is also served by commercial bus lines. Interstate highway 80 runs through Reno's downtown region, west to San Francisco, and east to Salt Lake city. The US 395 freeway passes just to the east of the city, connecting Reno with Portland and Seattle to the north and Los Angeles to the south.Food & Drink
